The Westin hotel in Capetown is outstanding. The 19th floor houses their executive lounge, gym, indoor pool and sauna. While we’ve been in other lounges, gyms and pools with a view, this was the first time that we’ve been in a sauna with a view. The sauna had glass walls on two sides affording a great view of the city and the bay.

As for their lounge, it was only the second hotel lounge that we’ve been in where you could order food (breakfast). While that’s great, it was still one step below the Ritz-Carlton in Cairo where you could also order dinner.
This hotel cost us two Marriott 35K point free night certificates. We were upgraded to a Deluxe King room with Executive Lounge access (the cash cost would have been $1,439)!
