Dar Es Salaam is the largest city in Tanzania so hopefully there will be some good free hotel options there. We’ve got lots of credits with several programs, so I just need some time to figure out the best value. I’ve already checked Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts (we’ve got (5) $300 credits) but they don’t have anything in Dar Es Salaam.
We’ve got three Marriott Free Night Certificates (FNCs); three IHG FNC’s; two Hilton FNCs’ about $450 in Capital One travel credit; two United $50 hotel credits (hey wait, is United Travel bank credit usuable for hotels? If so, there’s a couple thousand there. that also reminds me that since it’s a new quarter, I can apply for 2 x $50 of free United travel bank credit through the Aspire card).
Plus there’s still tons of hotels points and Airbnb credit (and I need to pick up this month’s free $20 of Airbnb credit – from the Amex Biz Gold card).
